Why is it not recommended to connect the DrivePro dashcam to the car's USB port?

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance

The car's USB port may not supply sufficient power, leading to unstable operation of the dashcam. Additionally, when connected to the car's USB port, the dashcam may automatically enter data transfer mode, during which it cannot record video or connect to a smartphone.

To ensure stable recording functionality, it is recommended to use the included car lighter adapter to connect the dashcam to your car's cigarette lighter socket. Avoid using the car's USB port to prevent issues caused by insufficient power supply or unintended activation of data transfer mode.
